"Blue Music Group company leaves Spotify" reports SR, Swedish Radio

The record company Blue Music Group, which specializes in folk music, classical music and jazz, ends its partnership with Spotify, reports Sveriges Radio's "Kulturnytt" ["Swedish Radio's Arts News"].

Record label executive Mika Pohjola tells the program that Spotify pays too little, and that it is better for Blue Music Group to sell its music on other platforms.

The entire record label's catalog, containing music collections, among others Bach, Alice Tegnér and Eddie Jefferson, will now be removed from the [Spotify] music service.
